Francesco Facilla - North America

Mr. Facilla obtained his university degree as Doctor in Economics and Business from the University of La Sapienza in Rome.  After graduating, he embarked in a successful international career path, spanning several decades and encompassing various industries. 

In 2004, seeing the need to cater to an ever growing Italian community wanting to invest in local real property, Mr. Facilla obtained his real estate license.  As he progressed in this competitive industry, he opened his own brokerage firm with a portfolio of sales in excess of $40MM.  The needs of his international clientele expanded to not only provide real estate services but also tailored financial and tax advice.  Therefore, in order to complement his background, he obtained a Master in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and his Certified Public Accounting License.  Moreover, he also attained his certification as a Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Mr. Facilla has lived and worked in Italy, South America, and in the United States for over 20 years.  He speaks fluent Italian, Spanish and English.

Massimo Magnani - North America

Mr. Magnani attained the status of Doctor in Economics and Business from the University of Bologna.  He started his accounting career in Milan at one of Italy’s most prominent accounting firms at that time.  As he progressed in his profession, he held several senior management positions in finance before rising to the level of CEO and general manager.

Mr. Magnani moved to the United States in 1997.  He graduated from Emory University in Atlanta with a Master in Business Administration.  When an Italian manufacturing company tasked Mr. Magnani with setting up its North American headquarters, he was able to overcome numerous cultural and business challenges.  This experience provided a wealth of knowledge and understanding.

Wanting a deeper know-how in forensic accounting, Mr. Magnani obtained a Master in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University in Fort Lauderdale as well as his Certified Fraud Examiner credentials. He honed his skills as a forensic accounting consultant in Miami, and subsequently became a Certified Public Accountant.

Including the U.S. and Italy, Mr. Magnani has worked in seven countries in South America, North America, Europe and Africa. He is fluent in Italian, Spanish and English.

Ilio Simonelli - Europe

Mr. Simonelli attained his degree as Doctor in Economics and Business from the University La Sapienza in Rome.  He is a licensed “Dottore Commercialista” and “revisore legale dei conti” in Italy. These credentials are equivalent to a Certified Public Accountant and accredited auditor in the United States.  He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.

He began his career over 30 years ago in the top international consulting companies where he gained invaluable experience.  At these firms, he developed a vast portfolio of skills by managing numerous clients and projects as well as working in numerous industries and countries.  Mr. Simonelli both participated and managed large multinational mergers and acquisitions giving him the opportunity to gain valuable know-how and practical experience.

Mr. Simonelli has worked in Italy, US, Mexico and Jordan. Speaks fluent Italian and English.

Elena Mocchi - North America

Ms. Mocchi obtained her bachelor, MBA and MS from the University of Miami. Her professional career expands over 20 years in large multinational organizations in the area of international finance and accounting. Ms. Mocchi’s expertise is in commercial finance, including financial analysis, long-term strategic planning/budgeting, as well as project management.

Her interest in learning and striving for new challenges brought her to Florida Atlantic University. There she obtained her Master in Accounting, culminating in getting her license as a Certified Public Accountant. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Ms. Mocchi has lived and worked in North and South America as well as in Italy. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
